Automatic wet sand blasting cabinet for batch parts
This newly designed automatic wet sand blasting cabinet features a customized tumble basket, specifically engineered for the surface finishing of batch metal workpieces. It offers a delicate cleaning effect, effectively removing rust, paint, stains, and other unwanted materials.
The mixture of blasting abrasive and water ensures a dust-free operation, while the automated system significantly enhances sandblasting efficiency.

The wet sand blasting principle utilizes a slurry—a mixture of abrasive and water—that is propelled toward the blasting gun. This slurry is then accelerated using compressed air. Upon impact with the workpieces, it provides light degreasing (when additives are used) and creates a uniform, consistent finish across all automatically blasted parts.

The cabinet can be configured with an optional recirculating rinse tank interconnected to the slurry hopper for a closed-loop system. Through triple filtration, water is cleaned for recycling, conserving resources. Additional options include oil skimmers and custom manual or automatic turntables of various sizes to suit specific operational needs.

1. No Pre-degreasing: Workpieces can be placed directly into the machine without needing to be degreased beforehand. The stainless steel construction ensures the machine is stronger and more durable than carbon steel alternatives.
2. Delicate Finishing: The key advantage of wet blasting is that the finish is produced through the flow of water-borne abrasive rather than pure impact. This creates a finer finish due to the lubrication and flushing action of the water, preventing media impregnation and extending the life of the abrasive.
