Product Overview

A Sandblaster Cabinet, also known as a media blast cabinet or abrasive blasting cabinet, is an enclosed surface treatment equipment. It mainly drives abrasives (such as quartz sand, corundum, plastic sand, etc.) to spray at high speed through compressed air, performing cleaning, grinding, roughening or beautification on workpiece surfaces. Widely used in surface pretreatment and precision processing scenarios across multiple industries, its enclosed structure effectively controls abrasive splashing and dust diffusion, balancing operational efficiency, safety and environmental protection requirements.

There is a wide range of product types, classified by structure into three categories: standard, split-level and portable. Standard fixed cabinets have openings at the front and both sides, suitable for processing small to medium-sized workpieces. Split-level cabinets are also fixed and equipped with a hinge-up top hatch to create a larger workspace, ideal for heavy and large workpieces. Portable cabinets, sometimes called mini sandblasters, are lightweight and movable, enabling precise control of abrasive spraying for detailed processing of small precision workpieces.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the primary use of a Sandblaster Cabinet?
It is used for cleaning, grinding, and roughening workpiece surfaces by spraying abrasives like quartz sand or corundum at high speeds using compressed air.
2. What are the different types of cabinets available?
We offer standard cabinets for medium workpieces, split-level cabinets for heavy/large items, and portable mini-sandblasters for precision work.
3. Which industries commonly use this equipment?
Industries include automotive maintenance, aerospace, metal processing, shipbuilding, and artistic stone carving.
4. How does the machine handle dust and waste?
The enclosed structure prevents dust diffusion, and many models include cyclone vortex recycling systems to minimize abrasive waste.
5. Are the cabinets certified for international use?
Yes, our sandblasting cabinets generally comply with CE and ISO international standards for safety and quality.
6. What is the difference between siphon and direct pressure types?
Siphon types are cost-effective for light loads, while direct pressure types offer higher flow rates and efficiency for mass production.
